Reverse Engineering
Asco have broad expertise and experience in the design and manufacture of special purpose machines. Using the latest Mitutoyo Computerised Measuring Machine (CMM) we can now reverse engineer your new and worn components to an accuracy of +/- 2 microns, and deliver inspection reports to the same.
Reverse engineering can be used on a wide variety of applications for components which may be difficult to source, with restrictive and unreliable time constraints or a component which has now become obsolete from your usual supplier. Asco Engineering can repair or manufacture replacement components reducing costs and minimising delays. Often the replacement components we manufacture can be upgraded for increased component longevity and performance.
The system also integrates with our CAD software producing drawings that can go straight to the shop floor & onto the CNC's.
